The Summer Kickoff Event is Sunday June 9th from 1-4pm, and is free and open to the public.  Hosted by the Ryan Michael Barber Fund and the City of Modesto Parks, Rec. and Neighborhoods Dept.  They will have food (Hardy's Catering is going to BBQ for the event!), games and also vendors there to talk about water safety, promote swim lessons and the summer aqua camps at Graceada Park. The library will also be there for the duration of the event to talk about their summer reading program and are planning to do a story time.
